Role Overview
The position of Business Development Assistant at Lyfit is based onsite in Canterbury, NSW. The role supports the expansion of the company’s offerings by facilitating lead generation, engaging potential participants and referral partners, and nurturing established relationships. Daily tasks include conducting market research, generating reports and presentations, updating CRM and database records, and organizing meetings and events pertinent to business growth. Collaboration with the wider team is key to identifying new prospects, assisting in service promotion, and enhancing the client and partner experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and market research abilities to evaluate opportunities, keep abreast of trends, and underpin data-driven choices.
- Customer service skills aimed at delivering respectful, prompt, and solution-oriented assistance to participants and involved parties.
- Familiarity with common office software such as Word, Excel, email, and CRM systems, coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Prior experience in business development, community services, healthcare, or NDIS-related settings is advantageous, along with knowledge of the Canterbury, NSW community.
