Business Analyst - Operational Excellence

Role Overview

Yamama Cement is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Organizational Excellence function. In this role, you will convert business needs into practical solutions, work with data to uncover insights, and contribute to digital transformation efforts across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Collect, assess, and formally record business requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications and assist with solution architecture and design.
• Work with operational and business datasets using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Power Platform tools.
• Build dashboards and reports that help leaders make informed decisions.
• Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver digital solutions.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and validate that solutions work as intended.
• Spot opportunities to streamline processes and introduce automation.
• Make sure solutions stay aligned with business goals, data governance practices, and cybersecurity expectations.

What We Are Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; an MBA is an added advantage.
• Between 3 and 7 years of professional experience in business analysis, data analytics, or digital transformation.
• Strong capability in gathering requirements and analyzing business processes.
• Advanced command of Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Prior exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
• Understanding of software architecture, system integrations, and data governance principles.
• Experience in manufacturing, cement, or heavy industry environments is preferred.

Preferred Certifications

CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Power BI, and Six Sigma credentials are preferred.
