Job Overview and Qualifications

This role requires a candidate with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution. Candidates must provide a copy of their degree with their application. Additionally, applicants should have legal authorization to work within the United States.

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience as a Business Analyst engaged in software enhancements or new application development projects. This experience includes gathering, prioritizing, and documenting business requirements collaboratively with users.

Preferred qualifications emphasize expertise in analyzing and documenting intricate business rules, workflows, and processes, along with re-engineering these processes to improve efficiency. Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with business and program subject matter experts is vital. This involves collecting functional, non-functional, and security requirements effectively.

The candidate should be well-versed in all phases of application development: from requirement analysis through design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of complex systems and reports.

Strong documentation skills are essential, including creating business requirements documents, process flows, swim lane diagrams, use cases, user interface mockups, user manuals, and technical specifications. Familiarity with tools such as Visio, Balsamiq, or similar applications for generating and maintaining process flows and wireframes is required.
