Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to collect and analyze requirements, assess business processes, and implement innovative solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and aligning with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate business and functional requirements and document them comprehensively.
- Partner with stakeholders to discern business needs and suggest practical solutions.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Evaluate current business workflows to identify areas for optimization and automation.
- Convert business needs into precise technical requirements for the development teams.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Contribute to Agile and Scrum events, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Use data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to extract business insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators to aid business decision-making.
- Collaborate effectively with Product, Development, QA, and Project Management teams to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience in gathering requirements, process analysis, and preparing business documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Technical Skills
- Business analysis techniques including BRD, FRD, User Stories, Gap Analysis, Process Mapping, UAT, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and SDLC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems and integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.
- Certifications including CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are desirable.
