Role overview
This position sits within the Local Court work unit and is focused on keeping the Alice Springs Local Court precinct and related court facilities running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. The role brings together facility coordination, building upkeep, contractor oversight, security systems, procurement, and business support.
Key purpose
The main aim of the job is to oversee the day-to-day operational needs of the court precinct so the buildings, services, and support activities are effective and reliable.
Operational responsibilities
The Building and Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating the management of facilities, arranging and monitoring maintenance works, supervising contractor services, supporting security system requirements, and handling procurement and business support functions.
