Role overview
Standard Bots is developing the next wave of physical AI by placing capable, user-friendly robotics into practical, everyday settings. The company is at a pivotal moment: the technology is ready, real customers are in place, and the broader story is just starting to take shape.
This position is for someone who will shape how that story scales. It is not a channel-only role, and it goes well beyond social posting. The mandate is to grow the Standard Bots brand across every organic touchpoint, including social media, content, community, creators, and culture, so that awareness becomes audience and audience becomes demand.
You will sharpen and extend the company voice, create content that resonates, and help build the system that establishes Standard Bots as America’s industrial robot company. The role spans product, sales, customer stories, and leadership, while working closely with brand designers and video producers/editors to deliver strong, fast-moving content that performs. The work may include spotlighting the company’s made-in-America manufacturing story, creating customer case studies, designing a launch moment for a product, or inventing content formats the robotics industry has not tried before.
This is an in-person role in New York, NY, with regular time at the Glen Cove factory and travel to trade shows and customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of organic brand growth, including strategy, brand voice, channel approach, content systems, and performance outcomes.
- Lead the company’s social presence, deciding where the brand should show up and how it should stand out on each platform.
- Work alongside video producers and editors to create a fast-paced, high-quality content pipeline and help manage the editorial calendar behind it.
- Move the brand beyond owned channels through creators, communities, earned visibility, and partnerships that introduce Standard Bots to new audiences.
- Create stories around the product, customers, team, and culture rather than limiting communication to announcements.
- Participate actively online with a strong sense of who to follow, when to engage, and how to represent the company credibly.
- Convert brand attention into measurable growth by defining KPIs tied to audience, engagement, and pipeline, reporting on results, and adjusting quickly when needed.
- Collaborate with communications, brand design, performance marketing, and leadership to keep narrative and key moments aligned.
- Test new formats, tones, and timing regularly, then scale what proves effective.
- Help build the function from scratch, including workflows, cadence, analytics, and eventually the team structure.
Requirements
- Deep familiarity with internet culture and a strong instinct for what resonates online.
- Proven experience growing a brand audience organically, with measurable results and a distinct voice.
- A well-formed perspective on how brands should behave online today, including the judgment to push boundaries without overstepping them.
- Confidence working with senior leadership: able to define a strategy, support it with data, and simplify complex internal ideas into clear public messaging.
- Experience coordinating across varied stakeholders such as engineers, executives, and customers to produce compelling content.
- Strong enthusiasm for robotics, physical AI, and the real-world impact of the company’s products.
- Interest in emerging media and evolving content formats, with the ability to help shape them rather than just follow them.
- The maturity, taste, and decision-making ability to handle high-impact choices, plus the ambition to build something larger than a single channel.

Compensation
The listed compensation range is $120K to $150K per year.
