About the Role
Our client is a reputable medium-sized accountancy firm located in Dublin seeking a skilled Audit Senior to join their expanding team. This role offers qualified accountants with a minimum of two years experience in Irish practice a chance to expand their audit expertise within a supportive, collaborative environment focused on community values. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee audit engagements for a diverse range of SME clients across multiple industries.
- Plan, perform, and finalise audits aligned with current auditing standards.
- Guide and mentor junior team members throughout audit processes.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact during audits.
- Compile audit documentation for partner evaluation and assist with the completion of financial statements.
- Detect control deficiencies and suggest valuable, actionable improvements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Chartered Accountant designation (ACA or ACCA qualified).
- At least two years’ audit experience in a practice environment.
- Proficient understanding of auditing standards and accounting principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-centric mindset.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with audit software such as CaseWare is beneficial but not mandatory.
