Role Overview
The Associate will support payroll-related operations, handle client queries, maintain service quality, and ensure processes are completed accurately and on schedule. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work with sensitive information in line with security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support payroll delivery, where applicable, in line with agreed processing calendars and performance targets.
- Use payroll knowledge to respond to client questions and issues while applying country-specific rules and legislation.
- Maintain data accurately and within required timelines, where applicable.
- Respond to tickets and calls within SLA timelines and with a high standard of service.
- Follow detailed working instructions, identify any missing or inconsistent information, and help improve the documentation when needed.
- Work confidently with the systems and tools required for the role.
- Complete SOC controls on time and ensure the supporting evidence is in place.
- Log system defects and issues correctly, with complete details and evidence so the relevant teams can investigate.
- Escalate any deviations from the agreed service scope to the Service Manager.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Meet all learning and training objectives assigned to the role.
- Record time accurately and within deadlines.
- Follow Strada security standards at all times.
- Participate in team discussions and raise concerns promptly with the Service Manager.
- Stay current with HR announcements and internal communications.
- Build effective working relationships across business areas as needed.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to internal stakeholders when required.
- Contribute to projects and other assigned activities as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate in a global, fast-paced environment with flexibility.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven mindset and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of HRIS systems.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in payroll administration or Health & Welfare/Benefits within HR consulting, HR outsourcing, or another corporate setting.
- Experience handling HR and payroll data is preferred.
