Associate Solicitor - Civil Litigation

About the Role

Glaister Keegan invites applications for an Associate-level Solicitor to augment our well-established Civil Litigation team located centrally in Auckland. This position offers a prime chance for a motivated litigation attorney eager to advance professionally by working alongside seasoned lawyers on a variety of civil and commercial dispute cases.

• Handle a wide range of litigation matters including contractual and commercial disputes, property and insolvency-related litigation, debt recovery and enforcement proceedings, trust and estate disputes, and other general civil litigation issues.
• Manage individual case files independently while partnering with senior solicitors on complex, high-stakes cases.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 3–7 years of post-qualification experience preferred, though all strong candidates will be considered.
• Robust background in civil litigation.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Client-oriented approach, proactive attitude, and commercially savvy mindset.
• Ability to perform effectively both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
