Job Summary
The Monetization Strategy and Operations team seeks an Associate Manager to propel growth initiatives and refine go-to-market and product strategies. This role works cross-functionally alongside marketing, sales, finance, product management, and operations to lead pivotal projects such as creating new business frameworks, optimizing pricing and packaging of current and future products, improving pricing strategy execution, and advancing LinkedIn’s global pricing policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution workstreams involving monetization, activation, and operational efficiency by identifying needed analyses, supporting hypothesis formation, and helping generate strategic recommendations.
- Create and present actionable insights grounded in data through comprehensive reporting, analysis, and qualitative research, including building scalable reports and conducting one-off analyses.
- Monitor, forecast, and report critical pricing metrics like win/loss ratios, discounting patterns, and churn rates, deeply understanding their definitions, drivers, and causes for fluctuation.
- Enhance operational rigor by detecting process weaknesses, ensuring governance compliance, and suggesting improvements or automation opportunities.
- Assist in developing and communicating training materials related to pricing policies and procedures, helping to disseminate changes across sales teams, cross-functional partners, and regions.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment on proposed initiatives, gather feedback from different regions, and customize communication strategies with managerial guidance.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of two years’ experience in pricing, consulting, banking, or strategic analytical roles.
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, management science, business, applied mathematics, statistics, finance, analytics, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to deconstruct complex problems, employ analytical frameworks and modeling, and develop clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage priorities and meet deadlines within a fast-moving environment.
- Skill in gathering and synthesizing data from diverse sources to support strategic decision-making.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to automate workflows and reporting processes that enhance insight generation and business performance.
- Familiarity with basic statistical methods to test hypotheses and detect meaningful patterns.
- Competency in conducting financial and data analyses providing foundational insight to support business choices.
