Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Associate Designer to strengthen our Footwear department. This role offers an exciting chance to join a vibrant, creative, and collaborative team contributing to the seasonal evolution of our designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full design ownership for selected licensed brands assigned based on your creative strengths, managing the CAD development of complete seasonal collections.
- Produce CAD designs for various private label clients, often incorporating playful prints aligned with brand identity.
- Perform trend research and market analysis to guide design strategies and maintain market relevance.
- Collaborate closely with the design director and senior designers, enjoying creative autonomy throughout the design process.
- Coordinate with international teams and factories to facilitate smooth production workflows.
- Partner with product development to ensure designs are executed as intended.
- Undertake sourcing, extensive trend monitoring, and competitive shopping to keep abreast of market innovations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the industry.
- Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Strong project management and deadline adherence skills.
- Growth-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and develop.
- Ability to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced working environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong work ethic and a cooperative team-oriented approach.

Compensation
Annual salary ranges from $50,000 to $55,000, dependent on skills and experience.
