A prominent global player in mobile accessories and connected-life technologies is seeking an Associate Creative Director to spearhead visual content creation for a diverse portfolio of consumer brands. This role involves leading creative efforts across product, brand, retail, social media, ecommerce, and campaign channels, focusing on device protection and power solutions.
Role Significance
This position offers a unique leadership opportunity to shape the visual presentation of physical products in real-world retail and digital platforms, not solely within conceptual presentations. The role demands responsibility for defining and maintaining visual identity across two established consumer brands, directing photoshoots from conceptualization to final output, and developing scalable content production systems such as Figma libraries and production playbooks to enable a fast-moving creative team to maintain high-quality outputs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and creative leadership to shape visual strategies for two major brands.
- Lead art direction encompassing photography, video, social content, motion graphics, campaigns, retail displays, ecommerce platforms, and brand initiatives.
- Create visual concepts that clearly communicate product advantages and establish distinctive brand identities.
- Oversee the full cycle of photo and video production, including concept ideation, mood board creation, shot listing, scouting, directing talent, styling, and managing production logistics.
- Direct social-first content development, covering short videos, product demonstrations, lifestyle imagery, campaign edits, creator-style assets, and platform-specific outputs.
- Apply a deep understanding of consumer packaged goods (CPG) marketing, covering content, packaging, retail, ecommerce, and paid media channels.
- Partner closely with design, marketing, product, ecommerce, retail, and channel teams to convert business goals into creative deliverables.
- Lead and mentor internal creatives and external partners including photographers, videographers, editors, motion designers, and graphic designers.
- Critically review creative assets such as photo selections, video rough cuts, animations, layouts, ensuring they meet brand standards and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in the creation of storyboards, scripts, campaign concepts, treatments, shot lists, and production proposals.
- Manage production schedules, budgets, priorities, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain consistent visual standards while driving brand evolution.
- Update and enhance visual guidelines, content management systems, and production protocols as the brands develop.
- Represent the visual content team in strategic meetings, effectively communicating creative direction, progress, potential challenges, and resource needs.
Requirements
- A comprehensive portfolio showcasing excellence in art direction spanning photography, video, social content, product storytelling, and campaigns.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in creative leadership, content creation, or photo art direction.
- Minimum of four years managing and mentoring creative teams.
- Proven competence in content creation for consumer goods, CPG, retail, ecommerce, and social platforms.
- Strong expertise in directing photography, video production, motion graphics, social, and digital content.
- Deep knowledge of social media content creation including shortform video, platform-specific trends, creator-style content, and paid as well as organic social media strategies.
- Experience with 3D content creation or direction, capable of collaborating with 3D artists and overseeing product visualization techniques.
- Proficient understanding of photography fundamentals, including lighting, composition, styling, set design, and product detailing.
- Hands-on experience managing shoots from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Proficient use of Figma for building design systems, shared libraries, reusable components, and scalable templates across multiple channels.
- Experience crafting mood boards, creative treatments, storyboards, shot lists, and briefing documents.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities to handle several workflows without compromising quality.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with creative, marketing, product, retail, and executive stakeholders.
- An acute eye for detail, product authenticity, visual pacing, and brand consistency.
- Ability to provide constructive creative feedback that enhances work quality while preserving team efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in mobile accessories, consumer electronics, technology, lifestyle, or premium product brands.
- Experience working within in-house creative teams, agencies, studios, and external production suppliers.
- Knowledge of Amazon content strategies, retail toolkit development, product detail page (PDP) content, paid social campaigns, and product launches.
- Hands-on 3D software experience with tools like Blender, Cinema 4D, or KeyShot.
Employee Benefits
- Weekly catered lunches every Wednesday.
- Generous paid time off along with two floating holidays annually.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
- Complimentary products from the company.

- Tuition reimbursement program.
