Assistant Store Manager - Bray

About the Role

Become part of the Skechers team at our store in Bray as an Assistant Store Manager. Since launching on Henry Street in 2010, Skechers has expanded to 26 locations across Ireland and Northern Ireland with continued growth. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily store operations.
• Guide and supervise store staff as instructed by the Store Manager.
• Take full charge of store activities when the Store Manager is absent.
• Collaborate on merchandising, customer service, and human resources throughout each day.
• Provide reports on store performance and assist in forming recruitment and sales plans.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Ensure the store remains attractive and address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Offer client support and troubleshoot issues as necessary.
• Take ownership of achieving sales targets for the store.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by senior management.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial position within retail.
• Demonstrated leadership and capability in training team members.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible and varied shifts.
• Strong interpersonal aptitude, decisive problem-solving, and sound judgment.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as stretching, bending, kneeling, and lifting products on the sales floor.
