Role Overview

The Assistant Project Manager supports Project Managers in overseeing global contracts for the design and construction of HRSGs valued up to and beyond $20 million, ensuring efficient project execution.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce the comprehensive Project Quality Plan across the company.
• Prepare and submit monthly Project Reports to customers.
• Assist in creating and monitoring the overall project schedule using the Project Planner tool.
• Manage subcontracting processes, including creating requisitions and administering contracts for significant engineered equipment.
• Review and approve vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, receipt of deliverables, and resolution of any disputes or back-charges.
• Coordinate and document weekly project team meetings as necessary to align all team members on project progress and contractual obligations.
• Support field activity coordination, including collaboration with Vogt Power site construction and start-up teams, managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and tracking related costs.
• Facilitate communication with the Technical Field Advisor to ensure prompt responses to field inquiries and integrate lessons learned into process improvements.
• Help the Project Manager compile data and costs needed for client change order proposals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Project Manager or VP of Project Management.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering.
• At least three years' experience in project management or engineering environments, particularly with complex custom engineering equipment projects valued at $2 million or more.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of contracts, including legal and financial aspects, cost control, and scheduling.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
• Possession of a valid passport and willingness to travel as required.

Terms & Compensation

To provide transparency, the base annual salary range for this position is $95,000 to $110,000. Final offers depend on factors such as education, relevant experience, certifications, and licenses and may vary accordingly.
