Assistant Manager Talent Management

Overview

This role is situated within the Talent Management unit of the Human Resources Division at Singapore Airlines (SIA). The appointed individual will play a critical role in supporting the deployment and continuous enhancement of talent management programs. The focus will be on identifying, fostering, and retaining essential personnel to satisfy both today's and future organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders, partners, and managers to execute thorough talent identification frameworks, including annual talent review cycles and succession strategies.
• Examine workforce analytics and performance data to pinpoint high-potential staff members and pivotal roles.
• Facilitate using assessment tools to measure employee competencies, potential, and readiness for advancement.
• Maintain tracking of talent progression and prepare detailed dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Oversee talent involvement and advancements in development programs, reporting on results and efficacy regularly.
• Coordinate with Learning & Development teams and external service providers to design and deliver tailored educational initiatives.
• Discover avenues to refine talent management operations and recommend improvements utilizing technology, generative AI, and industry best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a similar discipline.
• Have accumulated no less than 8 years of professional experience in talent management.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors, talent assessment mechanisms, and coaching techniques is advantageous.
• Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the capability to engage with stakeholders at varying hierarchy levels.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be a proactive, self-motivated individual enthusiastic about talent growth and personal development.
• Capable of both autonomous work and collaborative teamwork.
• Comfortable handling data analysis and the preparation of professional documents and proposals.
• Committed to ongoing professional learning and keeping current with trends and practices in the talent management field.
