Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update daily and weekly production schedules aligned with customer demand and production capacity.
- Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP), generate purchase requisitions and release work orders without delays.
- Manage capacity and load balancing across SMT lines, assembly, testing processes, and manpower to meet production targets.
- Ensure complete material availability before production line start-up to prevent stoppages.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods; prevent excess, shortage, or obsolescence.
- Oversee store operations including coordination of inward inspection, adherence to FIFO/FEFO storage methods, binning, and material traceability.
- Monitor daily material shortages and collaborate with procurement for expediting critical components.
- Ensure dispatch schedules meet committed delivery timelines.
- Maintain accuracy in ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as goods receipt notes, issues, returns, and stock reconciliation.
- Track key performance indicators including on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and plan versus actual performance; implement continuous improvement measures to reduce lead times and minimize waste.
