About the Role
The Assistant People Manager will play a key role in supporting global HR operations to deliver a seamless employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for managing HR administrative tasks, maintaining documentation, upholding policies, promoting culture initiatives, overseeing HR systems, and preparing reports, while collaborating extensively with various business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, proactive, highly organized, and passionate about enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute comprehensive global onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain employment contracts, amendments, letters, and related employee documents in close coordination with Legal and Finance teams.
- Develop, update, and maintain global HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Administer the HR information system (HRIS), organisational charts, and employee records, guaranteeing timely and accurate data management.
- Coordinate visa processes including applications and renewals, along with managing office-related administrative tasks for the Dubai branch.
- Arrange company-wide meetings and communications, handling invitations, participant management, and logistics.
- Manage global leave systems by administering leave policies, tracking, approvals, and comprehensive reporting.
- Generate accurate HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics to identify trends and recommend enhancements.
- Serve as a trusted liaison for employees, fostering a positive work environment and exemplifying company values professionally.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline HR processes and improve both efficiency and the employee experience.
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders regarding progress, priorities, risks, and deadlines to ensure team goals are met collaboratively.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 3 years up to 8 years' experience in People Operations or allied HR roles, preferably within rapidly expanding and fast-paced organizations.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously, taking ownership, and driving projects to fruition.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance in record keeping.
- Well-versed knowledge of employment laws, compliance standards, and best HR practices applicable across various jurisdictions.
- Approachable team player with a service-driven mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering remarkable employee experiences.
- Adaptable to dynamic work environments with changing priorities and familiarity working across multiple time zones.
