About the Role
The Assistant Fresh Manager position serves as an entry point to a dynamic and rewarding career with Woolworths Group. Assistant Fresh Managers are critical in managing daily operations within their department, collaborating closely with store teams to ensure customers receive excellent service and employees enjoy a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an engaging and inclusive workplace where individuality is valued while delivering a consistent and positive shopping experience.
- Provide leadership support, especially for those new to management roles, fostering development and career progression in retail.
- Maintain safety by enforcing proper in-store processes to protect team members and customers alike.
- Collaborate effectively with others to drive exceptional daily departmental performance.
- Understand and execute department operations to support daily team functions.
- Demonstrate and promote customer service excellence through Everyday ACTs: Acknowledge, Care, and Thank.
- Appreciate and contribute to a seamless, cross-store shopping experience.
- Cultivate self-awareness regarding leadership style and pursue ongoing personal development as a future leader.

Working Hours & Flexibility
The role offers a roster option running from Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the advantage of a 4-day workweek, promoting a healthy balance between personal life and work commitments.
