Architectural Technical Office Engineer

Overview

Baseel United Ltd is actively searching for a talented Architectural Technical Office Engineer to join its vibrant technical team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about ensuring architectural designs are precise, technically compliant, and smoothly executed across projects.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural concepts, schematic layouts, and detailed execution drawings for a variety of projects.
• Produce architectural blueprints, specifications, bills of quantities (BOQs), and complete construction documents utilizing professional industry software.
• Work collaboratively with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers and other disciplines to guarantee cohesive project execution.
• Examine contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications to confirm technical adherence.
• Assure all architectural designs and implementations respect the local Saudi Building Codes (SBC), relevant regulations, and safety requirements.
• Perform site inspections to assess execution quality, provide on-the-spot technical assistance, and resolve engineering challenges encountered during construction.
• Assist project managers in organizing work schedules and preparing presentations for clients.
• Maintain awareness of the latest trends in architecture, sustainable design methodologies, and new technological advancements in the field.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering is mandatory.
• Professional experience ranging between 3 to 5 years in architectural technical office positions.
• Proficient use of AutoCAD with a high skill level is essential.
• Experience with Revit or BIM software is a valuable asset and preferred.
• Demonstrated strong technical expertise, excellent skills in project coordination, and exceptional attention to detail.
