About the role
Rose & Company is a specialized independent advisory firm in capital markets that works with public companies to expand and strengthen their institutional investor base. Its platform gives institutional investors worldwide direct access to senior leadership at more than 100 companies, ranging from small-cap to mega-cap, across global markets. The firm is hiring an Analyst for its Business Development team in an entry-level capacity.
This opportunity is designed for candidates with 1 to 2 years of internship or professional background in sales, business development, client service, financial services, investor relations, or a similar area. The role offers close exposure to public company executives, investor relations professionals, and broader capital markets strategy, along with room to grow in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
What you'll do
- Help execute business development plans and outreach efforts aimed at prospective corporate clients.
- Carry out outbound prospecting through cold calls and email campaigns to introduce the firm’s services and build interest.
- Keep CRM records current and accurate by logging prospect conversations, meetings, and pipeline updates.
- Monitor and manage multiple outreach campaigns at the same time to keep execution on schedule and documentation complete.
- Prepare customized briefing notes and meeting support materials for internal team members before pitches, calls, and conferences.
- Arrange meetings and handle communication with corporate executives and other professionals.
- Assist with administrative work, special assignments, and broader team support as needed.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Academic exposure to finance, economics, or business is an added advantage.
- Previous internship or work experience in sales, business development, client service, investor relations, financial services, or a related function is preferred.
- Comfort using cold calling, email outreach, and phone-based elevator pitches.
- Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay effective in a fast-paced setting while juggling several priorities.
- Clear, professional, and confident communication skills.
- Capability to work on your own as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Willingness to work onsite in New York City.
