Air Traffic Controller - ATCO at St Athan

Role Purpose

The role involves joining the existing Air Traffic Control (ATC) team at St Athan to deliver safe and effective aerodrome control services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, orderly, and efficient air traffic control at St Athan aerodrome, including monitoring and managing aircraft both on the ground and in the surrounding airspace.
• Work shifts as required to maintain continuous air traffic control operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must possess a valid UK aerodrome controller (ADI) rating and maintain validation at St Athan during employment.
• Hold a current Class 3 UK Medical Certificate.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills, lateral thinking abilities, and capacity to perform calmly under pressure.
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check and provide a detailed work history for the past five years.
• Candidates currently undergoing or intending to undertake self-funded ADI training are encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

Employees are entitled to a competitive salary ranging from £38,511 to £54,208 per year, along with a Defined Contribution pension plan and generous annual leave including bank holidays.
