About the Role
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a dedicated Administrative Coordinator to support the Crisis Response Engagement Skills Training Institute (CRESTNY). This full-time role demands an organized professional who excels in administrative duties, communications, and data handling to oversee training, implementation, and evaluation activities. CRESTNY partners with state and city bodies including the New York State Office of Mental Health and is located at the Center for Practice Innovations within the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Director to develop and manage the CRESTNY platform and coordinate workgroups and steering committees involving NYSOMH, CPI, NYCDOHMH, and other collaborators.
- Schedule and organize meetings among internal and external partners to facilitate training and program implementation efforts.
- Coordinate all training activities with Implementation Specialists and maintain communication with the Online Assistance Unit (OAU) regarding LMS and content management systems.
- Support module development alongside CPIs teams, subject matter experts, vendors, and others to ensure timely availability of new online training materials.
- Arrange interactive learning community meetings, webinars, consultations, and support calls, while helping develop evaluation tools such as surveys and questionnaires for data collection.
- Manage logistics for both virtual and face-to-face meetings, including conference space planning and travel arrangements for Initiative members.
- Assist with content management by reviewing, editing, and proofreading newsletters, news briefs, and website pages related to CRESTNY.
- Maintain provider and contact lists, enroll learners into the LMS, and help establish continuing education unit systems, including preparing approval requests.
- Compile, analyze data, and generate reports such as pilot and annual reports to track progress and impact.
- Handle office supply inventories and process accounts payable for vendors, consultants, guests, and training groups.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a high school diploma.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in administrative coordination or related fields.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across government and healthcare sectors.
Salary and Grade
This position is classified as Grade 16 with a salary range from $60,413 to $71,958 annually.
