It operates a main office in Los Angeles and runs a showroom in San Francisco to present its collections. The company utilizes both domestic knitted fabrics and imported knit and woven materials, bringing diversity in fabric sources and styles.
Role Overview
This full-time Administrative Assistant position is located on-site within the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves supporting day-to-day office functions including handling phone communications, managing calendars and schedules, maintaining filing systems, and preparing correspondence and documents. Additionally, the assistant will coordinate meetings, aid executives with administration such as travel arrangements, maintain office inventory, and facilitate communication among internal teams and external partners. Other duties include data entry, creating basic reports, and assisting with logistics involving apparel orders, product samples, and showroom operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with clerical and administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, data management, and document handling.
- Professional telephone manner and effective communication skills for both internal staff and external contacts.
- Background in executive support, including calendar and travel management plus meeting organization.
- Proficiency in standard office software packages (MS Office, Google Workspace) and basic knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
- Excellent organizational ability, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in the New York City area and collaborate across teams.
- Experience within the fashion or apparel sectors is advantageous but not required.
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; additional studies in business or administration preferred.
