Overview
This part-time role offers 18.75 hours weekly (about 2.5 days) providing essential administrative assistance to the Integrated 0-19 Service. The postholder ensures efficient, resource-aware, and cost-effective support to families, children, and young people in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating within established systems to deliver effective administration.
- Maintaining accurate records with meticulous attention to detail.
- Using and updating administrative systems efficiently.
- Managing incoming referrals using the SystmOne electronic patient record system.
- Scheduling appointments and sending out appointment letters.
- Handling telephone calls and scanning clinical correspondence.
- Processing clinical correspondence timely and accurately.
- Collaborating closely with 0-19 clinical teams and administrative peers.
- Managing service waiting lists and coordinating clinics.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of fostering positive relationships with colleagues and external partners. Delivering exceptional customer care, whether face-to-face, over the phone, or in writing, is critical.
