Team Overview

The Finance team plays a crucial role in sustaining LEAP's rapid expansion by combining strategic insight with financial acumen. This team supports the broader company mission while managing complex finance functions with agility and precision.

Role Summary

As an Accounts Officer reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will undertake diverse accounting responsibilities primarily within Accounts Receivable. Your tasks will include handling debtor payments, investigating account discrepancies, and collaborating with different departments to ensure accurate customer invoicing and collections. There is ample scope to grow into other finance areas that align with your interests over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support billing operations and ensure the completeness of all contractual paperwork within the billing system.
  • Manage new and renewal business contracts and process subscription changes using Zuora.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to billing processes.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice-related customer inquiries promptly.
  • Identify root causes of account discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to reconcile client accounts.
  • Assist in collecting overdue payments effectively.
  • Process payment receipts and allocate them correctly in debtor accounts in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage shared inbox tasks accurately for Accounts Receivable and Collections.
  • Provide support for Accounts Payable tasks, including managing expenses via Lightyear and Expensify.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc accounting activities, gaining exposure to reporting through NetSuite.
