Position Overview
We are in search of a meticulous and detail-focused Accounts Executive to strengthen our finance department. The successful candidate will manage precise bookkeeping, daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and ensure all activities comply with accounting standards and company regulations. This role requires sharp analytical skills to identify and rectify discrepancies effectively, combined with practical expertise in Tally and Microsoft Office applications.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must hold a Commerce graduate degree (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification
- Possess a minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong logical and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated skill in detecting and correcting accounting mistakes
- Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime and MS Office suite (Excel, Word)
- Exhibit high levels of honesty, integrity, and a diligent work ethic
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial data management
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately record and update daily accounting entries using Tally
- Manage ledgers, journals, vouchers, and other financial records
- Conduct regular bank and vendor reconciliations, and review ledgers thoroughly
- Identify and promptly correct any discrepancies or errors found in accounts
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management and payment follow-up
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly account closures
- Generate MIS reports, trial balances, and financial statements employing Excel and Tally
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and statutory audits, providing necessary documentation
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all financial information
- Provide additional accounting support to the finance team as needed
