Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Accountant position based in Dubai entails managing daily financial activities such as transaction recording, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements and reports. Key duties include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank and account reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, budgeting assistance, and forecasting support. The position requires ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, supporting audit processes, and collaborating with internal teams to provide accurate financial data to aid decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Specialized experience in accounting within the travel, tourism, or service sectors is essential.
• Proficient in core accounting functions such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial report preparation.
• Experienced in accounts payable and receivable management, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to assist in business planning.
• Familiar with accounting software, including Zoho Books, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
• Knowledgeable about relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication abilities and capable of working effectively across departments.
