Role Overview

The Account Manager will manage and expand relationships with existing clients, focusing on retention, renewals, and upselling opportunities. This quota-bearing position combines expertise in sales with strategic consulting, collaborating closely with teams such as Customer Success, Product, and Sales to ensure clients achieve measurable success with Litify's platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of Litify clients to promote satisfaction and retention.
  • Spot and cultivate upsell and expansion possibilities by aligning client objectives with Litify's offerings.
  • Lead contract renewal processes through coordination with internal teams and clients.
  • Provide consultative guidance and strategic advice to enhance clients' business growth via Litify.
  • Conduct business reviews and strategic meetings to drive client value.
  • Attain or surpass monthly sales goals related to renewals and expansions.
  • Stay informed about platform improvements, legal industry trends, and best practices to inform client strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Success, Implementation, Support, and Product & Engineering teams to execute plans and maintain strong client partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Two to five years of experience in SaaS account management or a client-facing position.
  • Demonstrated sales talent with a track record of building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience engaging with senior-level executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-driven and highly organized, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is desirable.
  • Experience selling to legal firms, corporate legal departments, or government agencies is advantageous.
  • Comfortable with commercial negotiations and adaptable in sales approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 base annually, with an additional $40,000 in variable pay. Benefits are also provided. Compensation is set competitively based on qualifications, skills, and internal equity considerations. The final pay range may be adjusted depending on the candidate's experience and fit for the role.
