Overview
This opportunity is offered through a partner company seeking an Account Executive in Canada to join their rapidly expanding SaaS environment. The role focuses on driving increased adoption of a collaborative product that enhances team workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process, including initial prospect engagement, discovery, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Convert leads into customers by leveraging experience in selling SaaS solutions to small and mid-market businesses.
- Handle complex sales challenges coordinating multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
- Engage with executives and business decision-makers to assess challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the product and relevant customer use cases to present persuasive value propositions.
- Support customer success to ensure smooth adoption and retention over time.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Collaborate internally to refine sales processes and support business growth objectives.
- Utilize strategic negotiation skills to win competitive sales opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience selling SaaS products.
- Demonstrated success in closing deals within the SMB or mid-market segments.
- Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG) strategies is highly preferred.
- Experience closing deals typically in the $5,000 to $10,000+ annual recurring revenue range.
- A strong track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing startup settings.
- Self-driven, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Exceptional organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with clients and teammates.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base salary approximately CAD 60,000 to 80,000, varying by experience and skill set.
- On-target earnings (OTE) ranging from roughly CAD 120,000 to 160,000 annually.
