Role Summary

We are seeking an Account Executive located in Dublin to focus on new customer acquisition and growth within our Commercial (SMB) sector. This full-cycle sales position demands expertise in conducting structured discovery sessions, delivering compelling product demonstrations, managing technical and business stakeholders, and advancing complex sales opportunities with a proactive outbound sales approach and urgency.

Key Responsibilities

• Adopt an outbound-first approach to actively generate new pipelines and quickly build momentum within assigned accounts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, alignment, demonstration, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and closing.
• Conduct thorough discovery calls to identify business needs and technical specifications, converting these into compelling value propositions.
• Provide tailored live demos and storytelling to assist customer evaluation, including designing solutions such as workspace configuration, permission settings, rollout strategies, and integrations to facilitate adoption.
• Handle complex commercial requirements, including security, legal, and procurement, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain precise forecasting and demonstrate consistent, high-speed execution to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Collaborate with Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams to relay customer insights and feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of proven success in a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role or equivalent closing experience.
• Experience working closely with or selling to technical decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, VP Product, and VP Engineering, with the ability to translate product benefits into workflows and ROI narratives.
• Strong outbound sales discipline, creativity in pipeline building, and full-cycle sales skills including discovery, demonstration, and closing.
• Capability to manage multi-threaded deals and influence complex organizational structures.
• Quick learner with curiosity to grasp and explain technical concepts effectively.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools to improve personal workflows and adapt to AI-enhanced work patterns.
• Comfort with ambiguity and sales experience in the MENA market, contributing to refining commercial strategies and scaling growth through customer feedback.
• Not required to be an AI specialist but eager to adopt AI technologies to enhance performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models.
• Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, data infrastructure, or AI products.
• Previous experience as an early sales hire in rapidly growing startups.

Compensation and Culture

Notion offers a competitive cash compensation package complemented by equity and benefits. The total expected on-target earnings for this role are approximately €130,000 annually, subject to variables such as location, role scope, and individual expertise.
