About the Internship
The Burrow Library, a US-based online lending platform focused on children's books by Indian authors, is seeking a Social Media Marketing intern to join their team remotely. This internship involves managing and growing the brand's digital presence by creating valuable and engaging online content centered around diverse cultural themes found in their collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and publish creative social media content such as posts, reels, and stories aligned with The Burrow Library’s branding guidelines and goals.
- Monitor and analyze social media engagement metrics like follows, likes, shares, and website clicks.
- Drive growth in key engagement indicators through strategic social media activities.
- Experiment with new digital marketing strategies and explore additional platforms to enhance outreach.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be able to work remotely.
- Available to work daily from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Indian Standard Time (aligning with company's local hours 8:00 am to 10:00 am EST).
- Can commence internship between July 25, 2026, and August 29, 2026.
- Commitment to a full 3-month internship duration.
- Interest and relevant skills in social media marketing and children’s literature, particularly books by Indian authors.
- Open to women looking to start or relaunch their careers.
- Age requirement: candidates between 16 and 25 years old.
Additional Requirements
- Creativity and proficiency in social media content creation tools such as Canva and Capcut.

Compensation and Perks
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 5,000 to 8,000, which includes a fixed base of INR 4,000 and incentives between INR 1,000 and 4,000.
