About the Internship
This internship is with HiWi Forex Services Limited, a fintech company revolutionizing cross-border payments for Indian exporters and MSMEs through its HiWiPay EXIM platform. Located in Prabhadevi West, Mumbai, this role focuses on onboarding sellers onto major global e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Noon, Walmart, and Shopify. The office hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with odd Saturdays working and even Saturdays off.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The chosen intern will proactively identify and engage various businesses, including manufacturers, traders, exporters, and entrepreneurs, who are interested in selling their products online. You will initiate 80-100 outbound calls daily to inform potential sellers about the benefits of participating in top e-commerce marketplaces. Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads through cold calling, referrals, and databases, understanding sellers' specific needs to recommend appropriate marketplace options, and guiding them through the onboarding and activation processes. Additionally, maintaining CRM records and achieving monthly seller onboarding targets are key tasks.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Good understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and online marketplaces.
- Interest and enthusiasm for building a career in e-commerce sales.
