About the internship
This work-from-home internship is for a fashion design and merchandising profile focused on apparel product development. The role involves creating graphics for garments, preparing production materials, coordinating with manufacturing partners, and following the process through to final shipment.
Key responsibilities
- Design vector artwork, custom lettering, and graphic compositions for T-shirts, hoodies, and similar apparel using Adobe Illustrator.
- Build realistic digital mockups in Adobe Photoshop to show product color options, print positioning, and overall design presentation.
- Develop production-ready tech packs that include precise measurements, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
- Set exact placement details for screen printing, embroidery, puff printing, and other decorative techniques.
- Stay in touch with manufacturing partners in Tiruppur and help manage the working relationship.
- Track production, check quality, and coordinate the dispatch of completed products.
- Travel to Tiruppur when needed to support manufacturer coordination and monitor production.
- Take full ownership of the product journey from design sign-off to final delivery.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or already completed a degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline.
- Strong command of Adobe Illustrator for garment graphics, typography, and vector-based design.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for product mockups and visual presentations.
- Experience creating tech packs, measurement charts, and garment specification documents.
- Understanding of garment decoration methods such as screen printing, embroidery, and puff printing.
- Familiarity with apparel manufacturing workflows and production operations.
- Good communication and relationship-management abilities for working with factory partners.
- Capability to monitor production, quality checks, and shipping activities.
- Willingness to travel to Tiruppur whenever the work requires it.
- Creative mindset, strong attention to detail, solid organisation, and ownership of projects from start to finish.

Additional information
Stipend: INR 15,000 to 25,000 per month.
Work schedule: Flexible work hours, 5 days a week.
