About the Internship
Join the Sarvam Foundation as an English Teacher intern and contribute to empowering young girls from urban slums through quality education. The internship focuses on fostering confidence and skills in English language among students enrolled in the Sarvam Shakti Program. You will also assist in managing the daily activities of the learning centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver English lessons to students from Grade 3 and up, using engaging and interactive teaching methods.
- Design lesson plans and learning activities tailored to the academic needs of the students.
- Track and assess student progress, offering additional academic support where necessary.
- Manage student admissions and keep accurate records of enrollment.
- Oversee the daily functioning of the learning centre to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate scheduling and conduct of English and Yoga classes effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidates must be graduates or have excellent proficiency in English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English are essential.
- Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Delhi.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site internship for a duration of five months.
Additional Details
- Work schedule: Initially 5 days a week, 5 hours per day; transitioning to 6 days a week, 5 hours daily.
- Location: H24/23, Block H, DLF Phase 1, Sector 26, Gurugram, Haryana – 122002.
- Monthly stipend ranges between ₹10,000 and ₹15,000, dependent on experience and performance.
