About the Internship
Vega Visionary Training FZE is an EdTech company focused on adaptive learning powered by modern artificial intelligence. The team is building systems that adapt learning paths to each user by detecting individual skill gaps and automatically creating focused content to close them. This internship is suited to someone who enjoys combining research thinking with practical engineering and wants to contribute to products that can change how people learn.
What You’ll Do
- Stay up to date with research papers, technical articles, and open-source launches, and judge what is genuinely useful rather than chasing every trend.
- Convert ideas from research, your own hypotheses, or related fields into working code that can be tested in practice.
- Plan experiments around a clear hypothesis and measurable success criteria, including situations where no standard benchmark exists.
- Set up the supporting experiment infrastructure such as data flows, evaluation frameworks, and ablation environments so iteration is efficient.
- Produce clean, dependable implementation code, since strong engineering quality is required for trustworthy outcomes.
- Spot promising directions, continue developing the useful ones, and stop pursuing approaches that are not showing value.
- Move strong prototypes or notebook experiments toward production-ready solutions, or document them thoroughly for others to build on later.
- Record the full experiment trail, including what was attempted, what succeeded, what failed, and the reasons behind those results.
- Build a strong understanding of transformer models, including attention, tokenization, and context management.
- Explore agentic system design, including planning, tool usage, and chained reasoning, and apply those ideas in your work.
Eligibility
Applicants should be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 7 Jul 2026 and 11 Aug 2026, able to commit for 6 months, and have relevant skills and interest in the role.
Other Requirements
- Prior publications, open-source contributions, or competitive experience such as Kaggle is preferred.
- Experience turning a research prototype into a real production environment, including dealing with latency, cost, and reliability constraints, is valued.
- Comfort working with messy, real-world data rather than only polished academic datasets is important.
- Exposure to experiment tracking and reproducibility practices is desirable.
- A history of self-directed personal projects is expected, showing curiosity and initiative beyond assigned work.
Stipend
The stipend is INR 13,000 to 17,000 per month. The pay structure includes a fixed component of INR 12,000 to 15,000 per month and an incentive component of INR 1,000 to 2,000 per month.
