Role Overview
This full-time, onsite position based in Wellington focuses on the role of a Workday Consultant who will oversee configuration, upkeep, and enhancement of Workday's Human Capital Management, HRIS, and Financial Management modules. Responsibilities cover gathering and analyzing client requirements, devising and deploying Workday solutions, conducting system testing, and ensuring smooth integrations with other enterprise systems. Collaborations will extend across HR, finance, and IT units to troubleshoot issues, improve operational workflows, and uphold data integrity and regulatory compliance. The consultant will also be involved in training end-users, creating documentation, and driving continual process improvements and project execution.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Human Capital Management and HR processes, capable of translating business objectives into effective Workday configurations.
- Proficiency in managing HR Information Systems, specifically Workday system administration, configuration, reporting, and data governance.
- Strong communication aptitude for cross-team collaboration, effective solution presentations, and encouraging user adoption.
- Academic credentials in HR, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- Experience in consulting environments or project-based roles involving requirements gathering, solution architecture, testing, and deployment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with focus on precision, reliability, and data quality.
- Workday certifications or documented involvement in Workday implementation or support projects are highly advantageous.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
