Job Overview

The Work Control Center Engineer manages and coordinates maintenance operations within an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Facility Management (FM) setting. This role relies heavily on IBM Maximo/CMMS to handle work orders, preventative maintenance actions, asset records, and generate reports related to maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and organize maintenance schedules covering all services through the IBM Maximo system.
• Create work orders following approvals, tracking their progress through to completion and closure.
• Liaise with maintenance personnel to ensure work orders are executed and feedback is reported accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date information on equipment, assets, and locations within the asset management system.
• Collaborate with Stores and maintenance teams to manage the procurement and availability of materials needed for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure adherence to established company maintenance procedures and policies.
• Update and adapt the Preventive Maintenance Master Plan as operational requirements evolve.
• Compile detailed reports on maintenance activities, work orders, and operational metrics for managerial review.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or equivalent engineering disciplines.
• Additionally, certifications or training in CMMS, CAFM, IBM Maximo, maintenance management, or facilities management are advantageous.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in IBM Maximo, CMMS, CAFM platforms including work order, asset, and location management.
• Strong skills in maintenance planning and scheduling for both preventive and corrective tasks.
• Understanding of Operating & Maintenance and Facility Management principles.
• Ability to manage work orders and service level agreements effectively.
• Competency in generating and interpreting maintenance and operational reports.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to interact with supervisors, technicians, and inventory teams.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to maintain accuracy and streamline maintenance processes.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in Work Control Center operations, O&M, Facilities Management, or maintenance planning.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, CMMS, CAFM, or similar maintenance management software.
• Prior experience working within large-scale O&M or facilities management organizations is preferred.
