Role Overview
The WHE Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that equipment is delivered promptly to fulfill operational requirements. This position focuses on reducing maintenance-related downtime of assets within the Maintenance Base (MB) and enhancing both maintenance effectiveness and workforce productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on designated equipment following the established maintenance program aligned with reliability-centered maintenance principles by using the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard procedures.
- Maintain strict transactional accuracy in Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems by documenting usage of materials and supplies, labor time, and equipment maintenance records including movements, work orders, components utilized, and maintenance durations.
- Follow the standards prescribed by the TLM Product Line.
- Engage actively in the MB’s continuous improvement culture and initiatives geared towards enhancing asset utilization and reducing the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
- Contribute to ongoing efforts aimed at minimizing asset turnaround times by lessening maintenance-related downtime, accelerating parts and repair authorization processes, and managing failures and work-in-progress efficiently.
- Assist in boosting the productivity and efficiency of Maintenance Technicians through continuous process improvements.
- Execute CoSD-related projects such as the planned repair and reuse of parts to optimize costs.
- Take part in failure investigations as delegated.
- Adhere to the TLM Competency Management System requirements.
