Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technician to become part of our production team. The candidate should have extensive hands-on expertise with DI Water, RO Systems, Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), with a solid grasp of water quality monitoring and plant operation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise DI Water, RO, WTP, and ETP systems effectively.
• Continuously monitor water quality parameters such as pH, TDS, conductivity, turbidity, hardness, and chlorine levels.
• Execute chemical dosing and optimize treatment processes to maintain water quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot any issues with plant equipment.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and generate technical reports daily.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, environment (HSE) protocols and relevant environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or technical certification in water treatment, environmental engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of proven experience operating Water Treatment Plants.
• Strong understanding of RO, DI Water, filtration, softening, and effluent treatment systems.
• Familiarity with pumps, pipelines, filters, pressure vessels, instrumentation, and associated mechanical operations.
• Capability to perform routine water sampling, conduct tests, log data, and interpret laboratory results.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate, inspect, and maintain pumps, valves, tanks, and control systems.
• Sound awareness of safety, environmental, and regulatory standards concerning water quality and related plant operations.
• Basic computer skills for using monitoring applications, maintaining reports, and communication within the operations team.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage operational challenges calmly and efficiently.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work well within diverse teams and communicate clearly in English.
