Role Overview

We are looking for a dependable and diligent Warehouse Assistant for our Life Science and Healthcare warehouse operations. This hands-on position involves daily tasks such as receiving, putting away, storing, picking and dispatching orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and upholding a clean and safe workplace. The ideal candidate demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a cooperative spirit to consistently meet operational targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle receipt, unloading, inspection, and processing of incoming stock
• Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch orders with accuracy
• Organize inventory systematically in allocated locations
• Perform regular stock verifications, cycle counts, and support inventory audits
• Operate material handling equipment as needed within warehouse premises
• Report damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to supervisors
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times
• Adhere strictly to company policies and health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) protocols
• Ensure smooth execution of daily operational activities aligning with business goals
• Complete daily tasks diligently to minimize errors and contribute to continuous operational improvements
• Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal teams
• Encourage a workplace culture of accountability, safety, and high performance

Candidate Requirements

• At least secondary school education
• Basic proficiency in English, mathematics, and computer use
• Previous warehouse experience, particularly in Life Science and Healthcare sectors, is advantageous but not mandatory
• Possession of a forklift license and experience with material handling equipment is favorable but not required
• Physically fit with the ability to lift and handle heavy items using suitable equipment
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Capacity to work well in a team within a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial but not compulsory
• Availability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays if necessary
