Warehouse Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to help manage daily inbound, outbound, and inventory tasks. This position involves overseeing warehouse processes, operating forklifts safely, inspecting shipments, and ensuring secure and efficient handling and delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Support inbound and outbound warehouse activities including forklift operations.
• Assist in organizing, processing, and distributing goods for prompt vehicle dispatch.
• Carry out outbound inspections of shipments and palletized goods.
• Provide support in picking, repacking, labelling, packaging, and managing market returns.
• Coordinate with delivery teams on issues relating to goods and returned stock.
• Handle labelling, packing, and recycling processes for returned merchandise.
• Maintain warehouse security and follow workplace safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to ISO requirements and internal warehouse protocols.
• Maintain and manage stock inventory in the conventional warehouse setting.
• Conduct regular stocktaking on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
• Ensure safe, proper, and efficient storage of products.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors or heads of departments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed secondary school education.
• At least two years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Valid forklift driving license is mandatory.
• Familiarity with basic computer use.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic warehouse environment.
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and strong teamwork capabilities.
• Work schedule involves 5.25 days per week (Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays).
