Video Producer

Role Overview

Gritter Francona seeks a Video Producer dedicated to overseeing the entire lifecycle of animated educational video productions supporting the Veterans Health Administration National Center for PTSD. This role involves managing comprehensive projects from inception through final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all stages of animated video productions, coordinating efforts from initial planning to final delivery to meet set deadlines.
• Create and manage detailed production timelines, milestones, workflows, and monitor deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, SMEs, scriptwriters, storyboard and animation artists, voice over talent, editors, and Government representatives to ensure project cohesion.
• Oversee pre-production, storyboarding, animation, narration recording, editing, quality control, implementation of revisions, and project completion.
• Guarantee productions are consistent with approved scripts, creative vision, scientific accuracy, and government standards.
• Track production progress, identify potential scheduling conflicts or resource limitations, and take corrective steps to maintain timelines.
• Manage government review cycles ensuring all stakeholder feedback is integrated into deliverables.
• Ensure all video outputs comply with established quality, accessibility, branding, and technical standards.
• Confirm multimedia content accurately represents current clinical evidence and educational messages on trauma, PTSD, treatments, and associated conditions.
• Maintain trauma-informed, culturally considerate, and respectful content suitable for diverse audiences including Veterans and trauma survivors.
• Keep comprehensive production documentation including schedules, versioning, approvals, and project records throughout the production process.
• Assist in distribution planning by preparing final content optimized for websites, social media, presentations, and digital platforms.
• Work alongside Government personnel to support public education efforts, including initiatives like PTSD Awareness Month and clinical outreach campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Film, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Multimedia, or related field.
• At least three years of experience managing video or multimedia projects aligned with the task requirements.
• Proven track record in supervising video production from concept through to delivery.
