Role Overview

The Video Editor position is a full-time role based on-site in Lucknow. The primary responsibility involves transforming raw footage into refined videos used for marketing campaigns, product showcases, training modules, and corporate communication. Daily duties encompass sorting and trimming clips, incorporating transitions, applying effects and color corrections, integrating motion graphics and titles, and ensuring flawless audio synchronization. The role requires close coordination with content creators, designers, and marketing professionals to comprehend briefs, craft storyboards, and produce videos that adhere to brand standards and project goals. Additionally, the editor will organize the media library, manage project assets, and stay informed about emerging video editing trends and techniques.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in video production including shoot planning, camera workflow familiarity, and footage management.
• Advanced proficiency with non-linear video editing software to create smooth and compelling narratives.
• Experience in video color grading to maintain consistent aesthetics and support brand identity.
• Capability in motion graphics and graphic design to generate titles, overlays, animations, and visual elements.
• Strong creativity and meticulous attention to detail while adhering to branding and project instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate productively within on-site teams.
• Prior exposure to editing video content specifically for social media, websites, and corporate use is advantageous.
• Educational background in Film, Media, Animation, Graphic Design, or related disciplines preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
