About the Role
NextLabs is advancing into its next growth stage and invites a visionary Vice President of People & Culture to design and expand a top-tier people function that supports innovation, product excellence, and worldwide growth. Reporting directly to the CEO and part of the executive leadership team, this role focuses on building infrastructure, systems, and leadership capacity to scale a high-performing, product-centric software company. The VP will align talent strategies with ambitious growth goals while strengthening the organizational culture in a transformative leadership capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and implement talent strategies that support product development, revenue goals, and market expansion.
- Expand global recruitment efforts to attract leading talent across engineering, product, go-to-market, and enterprise sectors.
- Enhance employer brand visibility in competitive tech talent markets.
- Develop structured onboarding processes to accelerate employee productivity.
- Collaborate with executive management on organizational design, role definition, and scaling teams.
- Create succession plans and leadership pipelines to support layered growth.
- Lead change management during rapid expansion and organizational transformations.
- Establish scalable HR processes that avoid excessive bureaucracy.
- Implement performance management systems emphasizing accountability, innovation, and measurable results.
- Design leadership development programs tailored for engineering and product management leaders.
- Promote a collaborative, ownership-driven, and customer-focused culture.
- Advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within distributed teams.

Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of advancing HR leadership experience, especially in fast-growing software or SaaS environments.
- Proven support of product, services, and enterprise go-to-market teams.
- Demonstrated success in rapidly scaling teams while preserving culture and performance.
- Expertise in equity compensation, incentive program design, and software market pay standards.
- Experience implementing advanced HR technologies and analytics frameworks.
- Proficient management of global teams and complex compliance across multiple regions.
- Strong executive presence with influence at board and C-suite levels.
- Successful delivery of HR strategies and technologies aligned to business objectives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance and best practices.
Preferred Credentials
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Senior HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalents.
