Role Overview

We are searching for an eager, challenge-oriented Vice President of Finance to join our global team and play a pivotal role in steering BlueThrone's next phase of growth. This position requires a strategic business partner with strong financial expertise, ownership of the company’s complete financial operations, and the ability to support decision-making with precise financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the group-wide financial model, budgets, and continual rolling forecasts.
• Translate portfolio app data into actionable unit economics metrics such as lifetime value, payback periods, cohort profitability, and return on ad spend to guide leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with founders and COO on capital distribution, deciding app investments and acquisition viability.
• Define, track, and report KPIs to monitor financial health and strategy execution.
• Lead financial analysis and due diligence for acquisition prospects, including deal structuring and profitability assessment.
• Manage post-acquisition financial integration and consolidation of acquired entities.
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions, orchestrate debt refinancing and structure financing for acquisitions.
• Provide investor board updates and support funding initiatives.
• Oversee multinational financial consolidation, ensuring compliance across entities and jurisdictions.
• Manage treasury operations including cash flow, collections, payments, controls, and signatory authorizations.
• Lead tax strategy and compliance including transfer pricing, value-added tax, withholding taxes, and cross-border financial structuring.
• Secure continuous audit readiness and fulfill financial and legal reporting obligations with relevant authorities.
• Lead and mentor the finance team including the group controller and office manager, developing department capabilities as the company scales.
• Foster a culture emphasizing clarity, accountability, and teamwork in a fully remote and global environment.

Candidate Profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with significant expertise.
• Extensive experience within mobile app businesses, consumer subscriptions, or B2B tech subscription models.
• Demonstrated proficiency in FP&A and financial controlling across multiple countries.
• Strong knowledge of international financial and legal operations, managing complex multi-entity corporate structures.
• Excellent skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Practical, detail-focused approach, actively engaged in hands-on work rather than only oversight.
• Effective communicator adept at collaborating within remote, asynchronous, multi-time-zone teams.
• A proactive builder who establishes new systems and frameworks where necessary.
• Legal background or experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to align primarily with Asia-Europe time zones.

• Strong partnership with the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
• External interactions involving investors, banks, regulatory authorities, and service providers.
