Role Summary
This role entails leading the Global Trade Services product portfolio within QNB Group, aligning with the broader GTB and Group strategies to strengthen the bank's position in the trade services market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, marketing, and value-added service offerings of Trade Services products, maintaining QNB’s competitive stance globally.
- Support revenue and profitability targets, collaborating with sales teams to meet organizational goals and budgets.
- Promote cost efficiency and productivity by implementing best practices and KPIs.
- Delegate authority effectively within the team and monitor task execution.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs in partnership with Business Intelligence and Economic Research teams to tailor trade services.
- Innovate and develop cutting-edge client-centric trade solutions consistent with organizational ambitions.
- Coordinate with global sales, head office, and regional managers to drive product commercialization and profitability monitoring.
- Manage customer relationships and ensure swift resolution of product-related inquiries, maintaining strong internal collaboration to meet SLAs.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks aligning with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
- Lead project implementations related to trade products and digital channel enhancements jointly with global teams.
- Prepare marketing plans, sales collateral, and support branding efforts to position QNB as a market leader.
- Represent QNB in industry forums, conferences, and professional gatherings highlighting trade services capabilities.
- Oversee pricing strategies, credit risk assessments, and risk mitigation for trade clientele.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives fostering innovation and cross-team collaboration.
- Ensure team members possess necessary skills and facilitate knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Adhere strictly to legal, regulatory, and risk management principles including AML, CTF, data protection, and conduct risk policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, supporting internal audits and compliance functions.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology or related fields; a Master’s degree is highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant banking experience, ideally in a highly rated international financial institution.
