Overview
The TM Raw Material role involves overseeing the procurement process to ensure project materials, equipment, and spare parts are acquired timely while optimizing cost efficiency. This position entails coordination with various departments and vendors to facilitate smooth project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with relevant departments to streamline procurement activities.
- Conduct price negotiations with suppliers for acquiring materials and equipment.
- Select suitable vendors based on material requirements and ensure timely requests for quotations.
- Guarantee availability of required materials aligned with project schedules.
- Implement, monitor, and review procurement best practices within the organization and in coordination with group companies to maximize synergy benefits.
- Lead vendor development initiatives including identifying items for development, completing vendor registration processes, and evaluating vendor performance.
- Finalize vendor selections through discussions with stakeholders to enhance competitiveness.
- Ensure payments to suppliers are made punctually following agreed terms to maintain supplier relations and compliance.
- Coordinate with teams for effective deployment and use of SAP MM Module within procurement functions.
