Position Overview

The Territory Service Representative (TSR) - Operations plays a crucial role in managing pickups and deliveries in an assigned region, ensuring timely execution while providing excellent customer service and upholding the Blue Dart brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct punctual pickup and delivery of parcels within assigned routes, ensuring strict adherence to service timelines.
  • Verify shipment details accurately to prevent errors during pickups and deliveries, and safeguard shipments against damage or loss.
  • Interact professionally with customers, addressing basic queries and escalating more complex issues when necessary.
  • Collect and manage Cash on Delivery (COD) payments accurately and ensure timely remittance according to procedures.
  • Obtain customer acknowledgments and proof of delivery documentation diligently.
  • Consistently scan shipments and update statuses in real-time using handheld devices or approved platforms.
  • Comply with all operational protocols, safety regulations, and company policies throughout daily activities.
  • Maintain vehicle condition and statutory documents, report maintenance needs promptly, and adhere to road safety guidelines.
  • Display proper grooming, wear uniforms, and exemplify professionalism and workplace discipline at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with shift leaders and branch teams to support operational goals and handle peak periods.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum educational qualification is completion of 10th standard; higher education is advantageous.
  • Suitable for freshers or candidates with up to 2 years experience in courier, logistics, distribution, retail delivery, or related fieldwork.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possession of a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driver's license is mandatory.
  • Ownership of a personal two-wheeler is required where role demands use of own vehicle.
  • Physical fitness for field operations and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.

Skills and Attributes

  • Operational experience in pickup and delivery logistics.
  • Competency in handling shipments safely and collecting cash-based payments (COD).
  • Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer/mobile applications.
  • Basic English literacy for reading and comprehension.
  • Strong customer service focus, integrity, reliability, safety awareness, teamwork, discipline, accountability, positive attitude, punctuality, and professional conduct.
