Role Overview
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for delivering and exceeding sales targets within the assigned geography while following all company and regulatory requirements. The role involves identifying customer needs, coordinating appropriate resources, and supporting pull-through activities. The representative will build advanced knowledge of the product and related disease state to engage deeply with healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position will promote the company’s first product to gastroenterologists, advanced practice practitioners, and selected primary care physicians in the assigned territory. The TSR will collaborate with peers, regional leaders, and commercial partners to support territory, regional, and company-wide objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strong territory performance and work toward meeting or surpassing sales goals.
- Develop deep knowledge of the product and disease area to have clinically relevant conversations with gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, APPs, and office teams.
- Strengthen understanding of market conditions and access opportunities to improve pull-through with healthcare providers and office staff.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists to build and execute territory plans that support revenue goals.
- Coordinate with peers and internal teams such as marketing, training, and sales operations to execute work effectively and share effective practices.
- Handle administrative duties accurately, including CRM updates and expense reporting.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least 2 years of successful medical sales experience, such as dental, medical device, laboratory, or diagnostics, or at least 1 year of pharmaceutical sales experience; experience in GI specialty sales is preferred.
- A documented history of consistent sales achievement.
- Experience bringing new products to market.
- Ability to use marketing, access, and technology resources effectively to drive results.
- Strong commercial judgment and analytical ability.
- Comfort building professional relationships with office staff and others in the customer network.
- Success in both in-person and virtual selling environments.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and digital meeting tools such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Some overnight travel within the territory may be required depending on geography.
- Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may also be required.

Compensation
The expected annual base salary for this position is $90,000 to $140,000.
