About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Writer to develop and keep up-to-date clear, well-organized product documentation for a SaaS platform. The role involves turning product knowledge into content for customers and internal teams while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Draft and update product manuals, user guides, FAQs, and help-center articles.
- Write release notes for new functionality, product improvements, and production launches.
- Keep track of minor changes and fixes through accurate change logs.
- Capture product processes, configuration steps, admin tasks, and user flows in a structured way.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, Customer Success, and Support teams to collect correct information.
- Refine existing documentation to make it easier to read, more consistent, and more useful.
- Arrange content within a scalable wiki or help-center framework.
- Ensure documentation stays aligned with each product release.
- Create documentation that is cleanly structured and suitable for AI or help-bot experiences as well.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
- Background in technical writing, product documentation, or SaaS documentation.
- Ability to understand product workflows, UI behavior, and configuration details.
- Experience producing user guides, release notes, FAQs, and knowledge-base content.
- Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and detail.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and gathering information independently.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, GitBook, Zendesk Guide, Freshdesk, or similar systems.
